C.O.O.R. Intermediate School District and its programs are governed by a seven-member Board of Education. Its members are elected to serve six-year terms. Board Members are listed on the left side of the page.

Traveling Meetings

The Board decided to meet at Fairview Area Schools for their August 10, 2022 meeting. They have also visited Crawford AuSable School District, Houghton Lake Community Schools, West Branch-Rose City Area Schools, and Mio AuSable School District. The board hope that this will help inform the local community members about the ISD.

Governance Standards

The C.O.O.R. Board of Education has adopted the Michigan Association of School Boards Governance Standards. The Board of Education Governance Standards were developed by school board members for school board members to provide a shared framework for effective school district governance. Welcoming new board members

At the January 8th meeting, the board voted to appoint Anthony Bair and Alyssa Faulkner to fill the two vacancies. They will have the option of running in the November 2026 General Election to continue the remainder of their terms.

Regular board meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month, at 6:00 PM at the C.O.O.R. ISD Central Office. Postings of Special Meetings can also be found by the main door to the C.O.O.R.
